Xenon driving lights which are also known as High
Intensity Discharge (HID) refers to lighting technology that relies on an
electrical charge to ignite xenon gas in a sealed bulb, similar to the
lightning phenomenon in the sky. Xenon
lights are also called HID lighting, referring to the gas inside the bulb.
If we make comparison between HID lights
and Halogen lights technologies, HID lights durability is ten times more than
that of Halogen because vibration or jolts can damage halogen filament but
there is nothing like filament in HID. The cooler temperature of Xenon lights
is 5000k which is much more than Halogen. The HID Xenon system also consumes less power from your vehicles electrical
system and generates much less heat during operation.
The various advantages of Xenon driving lights are that it
consumes less power and produce less heat during operation. The attraction to xenon bulbs is its Kelvin. A
Kelvin is a common measurement of the intensity of color that is seen by the
bulb.
